Perhaps all the previous year you were able to lie to yourself that there isn’t a trace of darkness within you. But how about putting on your deepest fears, or what you see as the greatest evil, like a mask, and walking a mile in its shoes? Only the most dangerous beast, when kept in a cage, will break its own bars – that’s why from time to time you must take your monster out for a walk and let it meet the shadows of others. Joy and tears, pain and pleasure – two sides of the same coin – and when they start to spin together in a dance, what was once flat and black-and-white becomes colorful and round like the world.
